Hi, I’m Charles. Over my 18 years as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist in France and Canada, I’ve seen a consistent truth in schools:
When our support staff feel confident and equipped, our students feel safe and capable of learning.
I founded Practicing Hope because I believe that Educational Assistants are the heartbeat of the inclusive classroom. However, they are often asked to navigate complex sensory needs and behavioral regulation, and they are looking for actionable tools they can use in their daily contact with students.
Occupational Therapy is about deeply understanding the unique environment of your school and the specific hurdles your support staff face. My goal is to work alongside you to co-create practical, sustainable solutions that build the capacity of your support team.
Through tailored workshops and Professional Development days, I help your EAs integrate:
I know how busy a school day is. That’s why I’ve designed this support to be as seamless as possible: just knowledgeable, tailored guidance delivered virtually or directly to your staff, right where they are.
My favorite thing in life is seeing an organization like yours reach a point where everyone, students and staff alike, is thriving and contributing to one another’s well-being.
Would you like to discuss how we can level up your support team to better serve your students?
I’d love to offer a free discovery call to hear about your school's unique vision and how we can work together to elevate your journey toward hope and thriving.
